Decibel Detector · Effective July 9, 2026

Audio

Decibel Detector uses your iPhone's microphone solely to measure ambient sound levels while the app is open. Audio is analyzed in real time entirely on your device. It is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted off your device.

Data collection

The app collects no personal information, no usage analytics, no identifiers, and no diagnostics. It contains no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.

Network access

The app makes no network connections. Everything it does happens locally on your device.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes (for example, in a future version of the app), the updated policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
